Neapolitan spaghetti/ Japanese tomato pasta

<Neapolitan spaghetti/ ナポリタンスパゲッティ>

<Cook time> 10 mins


½ onion

1 green pepper

1 shiitake mushroom

3 piece of sausages

pasta for 1 serving

1 tsp of oil

1 tbsp + 1 tsp of butter


2 tbsp of tomato ketchup

1 tbsp of tonkatsu sauce

1 tsp of sugar

2 tbsp of pasta water

½ tsp of soy sauce

1; Slice onion, green pepper, and shiitake mushroom thinly. To a pan on high heat, add butter and oil. Add onion . Cook it away for 3 mins until the onion become translucent. Add green pepper , shiitake mushroom, and chopped sausage and 1 tsp of sugar. Cook it for 2 mins.

2;Cook pasta 1min longer than the package instruction says.

Reserve the pasta water.

3: In to the pan on low heat, add 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup &1 tbsp of tonkatsu sauce. Mix with ingredients. Add cooked pasta and pasta water, then toss everything to coat. Add 1 tsp of butter and ½ tsp of soy sauce. Adjust the taste with salt. Plate it and sprinkle some cheese! Ready to be enjoyed!

Store it in an air-tight container for 3 days after it’s made.
