Christmas is approaching soon!!

If you want to enjoy sweet stuff but still eating healthy, this vegan ice-cream with tender apple is perfect for you! This recipe calls for only 4 ingredients!

<Yield> 3 servings

<Prep time> 5 mins ( not including the time for FREEZING)

<Cook time> 5-6 mins ( in microwave)


soy ice-cream

silken tofu 400g

4 tbsp of tahini

4 tbsp of maple syrup

sweet frozen apple







1; Wash apples and remove the core. Wipe off the moisture and wrap with plastic wrap.

Pop them into the freezer for 2 days.

2; Blend silken tofu, tahini and maple syrup. Transfer them into the container. Freeze it for 4 hours. Take out from the freezer and blend it again. Transfer into the container once again and freeze them to your liking.

3; Microwave the frozen apple 600w for 5-6mins with the cover on. Plate apple and drop tofu ice cream on top. Sprinkle some cinnamon and roasted walnuts if you want to. Ready to be enjoyed!

・If your apple is large, microwave it for 6mins. I recommend to cook it until it’s really soft and tender.

・You can not use firm tofu in this recipe. Make sure to use custard type of tofu.

・If your ice-cream is hard like sorbet, leave it in a room temperature for 15 mins!

・The ice cream itself is not so sweet, feel free to drizzle maple syrup when you serve.

<Storage time>

Store it in a air-tight container in the freezer for 1 week after it’s made. Please keep apple and ice cream separately.
