BULGOGI RECIPE- FROZEN MEAL PREP




Savory and filling bulgogi for dinner??


If you are looking for easy, quick and tasty Asian stir-fry recipe, this is the one!


You can marinate and freeze it on Sunday meal prep!

<BULGOGI- FROZEN MEAL PREP プルコギ>



<Yield> 4 servings


<Prep time> 5 mins


<Cook time> 8 mins


<Ingredients>

Thinly sliced pork shoulder ( shabu shabu pork) 500g/ 17.6oz)


marinade

3 tbsp of rice wine without MSG and salt

1 ½ tbsp of honey

4 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of gochujang

2 cloves of grated garlic

1 tsp of grated ginger

1 tbsp of Toasted sesame oil




<Directions>

1; In a zip bag add all the condiments listed in <marinade>. Add pork. If the pieces are too long or big, please slice them into bite size. Massage them until everything is well combined.

Pop them into the freezer .


2; Defrost 1 and stir fry with your favorite vegetables. I’m using broccoli and tomato in the video. Adjust the taste with salt, pepper, toasted sesame oil. Sprinkle some sesame seed if you want. Ready to be enjoyed!




<Miwa’s tips>

・you can keep the pork in the freezer for upto 1month.


・Pork itself is quite savory. please add lots of vegetables! Onion, leek and carrot are my go-to!


・Please use the thinly sliced pork. If it’s too thick, the texture gets too tough and chewy.



<Storage time>

Store it in a air-tight container in the fridge for 3 days after it’s cooked.
